At Ovoclone, we are committed to equine assisted reproduction and, on this occasion, we want to share with you some <strong>success stories<\/strong> that highlight the work of professionals in the sector to reproduce almost identical copies of stallions. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f36dc25 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f36dc25\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">CUARTETERA<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-47a9d54 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"47a9d54\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>\u201cIt\u2019s like Messi and Maradona together\u201d<\/strong>, said <strong>Adolfo Cambiaso<\/strong>, regarded by many as the greatest Argentine polo player in history. These words referred to \u2018Cuartetera\u2019, who, alongside her rider, enjoyed the greatest sporting successes in this discipline. Although the mare passed away in 2023, she had previously been cloned, producing \u2018cracks\u2019 from this process, most of whom are dedicated to polo.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6ea0626 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6ea0626\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">OTTERONGO ALPHA Z<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-36a87f5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"36a87f5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Another excellent example is that of \u2018Otterongo Alpha Z\u2019, a KWPN clone of <strong>\u2018Otterongo Van de Kopshoeve\u2019<\/strong>, who achieved 4th place at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, among other successes. In 2023, \u2018Otterongo Alpha Z\u2019 won the CSI5*-W 1.55m Grand Prix in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). In this case, cloning was carried out through <strong>somatic cell nuclear transfer<\/strong> (SCNT), a technique that consists of introducing the nucleus of a somatic cell into an enucleated oocyte to generate an embryo, which is then transferred to a recipient mare.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-95df602 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"95df602\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">CONTARA<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ad496e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5ad496e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Nor can we overlook the case of \u2018Contara\u2019, a daughter of <strong>\u2018Contender\u2019<\/strong> and dam of the famous <strong>\u2018Chacco Blue\u2019<\/strong>. This mare had only three foals, including the acclaimed stallion. Faced with the impossibility of further pregnancies due to her advanced age, <strong>cloning was chosen<\/strong> in order to obtain offspring from her clones and preserve her excellent genetics. To this day, it is known that the first three foals have already been born.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fe41540 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fe41540\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">QUARELA DE TOSCANE<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0e3a98d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0e3a98d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u2018Quarela de Toscane\u2019, daughter of \u2018Coriano\u2019 and \u2018Karla de Toscane\u2019, was born in 2004 and her first clone arrived in 2023, more precisely on 11 April of that year. This has been the first clone registered in the <strong>Studbook of the Spanish Sport Horse<\/strong> (CDE). <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8f4e980 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8f4e980\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">KURT<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9682f13 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9682f13\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Also in 2023, Kurt, a <strong>Przewalski\u2019s <\/strong>horse foal, was born, bringing new <strong>biological hope<\/strong>, since his birth was made possible using biological cultures from the aforementioned Przewalski, which had until then been extinct.
