Harmonie

Harmonie is the daughter of the stallion Calvados, a direct descendant of Uriel, out of a CSI 1.60m competing mare, direct daughter of Ibrahim, Gold Rose. In other words, Calvados has as parents two of the original Selle Français lines. For his part, Calvados, who also competed at CSI 1.60m, has been widely used as a stallion, having demonstrated his versatility with nearly 50 offspring competing at CSI 1.60m, and some also dedicated to dressage or eventing. As the dam of Harmonie, we have Electra, a KWPN mare directly by none other than Voltaire, sire of the No.1 stallion in the 2024 world ranking, Kannan GFE, out of a mare that competed at CSI 1.50m. Electra devoted herself to international sport and breeding, producing 9 offspring, of which 6 competed internationally and one approved stallion, Sex-Appleal. Another of Electra’s daughters, and therefore Harmonie’s sister, Dametje van Liefhebber, produced 3 offspring. The two colts by Berlin are ranking competitors: Jericho with Ellen Whitaker (GBR), and Hiperbolics, exported to the USA.
