Tornado VS, a Holsteiner son of Toulon, is recognised as one of the best Show Jumping horses at both national and international level. Together with his rider Armando Trapote, he was the top combination at the CSIO5* in Barcelona, completing 1.60m rounds without faults. In 2022, they were crowned Absolute Spanish Champions, and in 2023, their double clear round at the European Championship secured Spain’s qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where he is part of the Spanish team. Although gelded and without offspring, his clones will guarantee the transmission of his genetics and quality.
Tornado VS is a Holsteiner by Toulon, one of the best sons of Heartbreaker, out of a mare sired by two of the great Holsteiner stallions: Contender and Corrado I.
Together with his rider Armando Trapote, Tornado has recently been the best national combination at the CSIO5* in Barcelona, finishing all four rounds of this competition at 1.60 metres without faults.
In 2022, Tornado VS was crowned Absolute Spanish Champion together with his rider. In addition, they achieved a decisive double clear round at the 2023 European Championship, which secured Spain’s team qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. They have been the most sought-after pair by the Spanish equestrian community, with Tornado VS finally becoming a member of the Spanish team, as he is considered one of the best Show Jumping horses at both national and international level.
Unfortunately, as a gelding, he has not left any offspring, but his clones will be able to produce foals, thereby transmitting the genetics and quality of Tornado VS.
