Dog Cloning

Dog cloning with Ovoclone

At Ovoclone, we understand how devastating it can be to lose your beloved dog. Although advances in veterinary medicine have improved the quality of life of our pets, their time with us is still limited. That is why we specialise in dog cloning, offering a solution to prolong the special bond you share with your loyal friend.

What is dog cloning?

Dog cloning is an advanced process that allows the creation of a genetically identical twin of your dog. This procedure does not alter any gene of the donor dog, ensuring that the clone shares the temperament, intelligence, and appearance of the original.

Dog Cloning Process at Ovoclone

At Ovoclone, the dog cloning process is meticulous and efficient.
Here we explain the steps involved:

If you wish to clone your dog, you must first preserve its genetic material. This process begins with the collection of a tissue sample through a biopsy, carried out by the veterinarian.

The collected cells are cultured and cryogenically stored.

The genetic information of the donor dog is transferred into an egg that has been stripped of its original nucleus. The modified egg then begins to divide and form an embryo.

The embryo is implanted into the uterus of a surrogate mother, where it develops like a normal pregnancy.
