Equipped with the latest technologies
The preservation of cell lines is crucial to protect the genetic information of competition horses, especially those with valuable genetic lineages. This is essential to secure their genetic legacy in the event of accidents or health problems.
The process involves a simple biopsy of 2 to 4 mm, which is stored in liquid nitrogen at -196 degrees, preserving the DNA indefinitely. This technique is non-invasive and is carried out with deep respect for animal welfare.
